FOR PRACTICING SISTERS IN THE GREATER TORONTO AREA

Your Journey To Jannah Shouldn't Be Lonely.

Ever wished you had a group of sisters who reminded you of your deen and encouraged you to grow closer to Allah? That’s why we created Her Muslimah Club. 🌷 Come join us. Let’s build that sisterhood together. 🤍

Because staying close to your deen shouldn't feel lonely.

Being a young Muslim woman in the West can feel lonely. There is pressure to fit in, to look a certain way, and to measure ourselves against beauty standards that never stop changing. With so much fitnah around us, holding on to our values can sometimes make us feel out of place—even among people we call friends.

It can be tiring to feel like you have to explain your modesty, your choices, or why your faith comes first. Sometimes, you simply want sisters who understand. Sisters who encourage you to protect your salah, open your Qur’an, and keep turning back to Allah, even when you’re struggling.

You might know plenty of people and still long for sisters who share that intention. Someone to attend a Qur'an circle with. Someone to send you a reminder when you need it. Someone who will ask how you're doing—and how your heart is doing, too.

We created Her Muslimah Club to help those sisters find each other.

At the heart of HMC is a reminder we all need: society’s approval is not our purpose. What Allah asks of us matters more than what the world expects us to be. We want to help one another find the courage to live by that, with sincerity and kindness.

Through Qur’an circles, honest conversations, and creative afternoons spent together, we hope to build friendships where we can have fun, feel understood, and encourage each other in our deen. Friendships with sisters who celebrate our progress and remind us of Allah when we need it most.

A sisterhood we can keep coming back to, through the different chapters of our lives, in shaa Allah.

Time for your deen. Time for each other.

Our gatherings bring faith, friendship, and creativity into the same space. Alongside reminders and conversations about our deen, we're planning activities that give us time to connect and enjoy each other's company.

  • Two sisters seated on a rug reading an open Qur'an together

    Qur'an circles and revision

Make time for recitation, revisit what you've memorised, and encourage consistency.

  • Hands writing reflections in a journal beside a closed Qur'an with an ornate rose cover

    Qur'an journaling

Reflect on lessons from reliable tafsir and consider how to bring them into everyday life.

  • Sisters playing a live quiz game on their phones with a laptop showing the quiz screen

    Islamic trivia and games

Learn together through friendly quizzes and thoughtful discussions.

  • Hands painting floral watercolours on canvas at a table

    Painting and creative afternoons

Pick up a brush, try something new, and enjoy a relaxed afternoon with sisters.

  • Hands with natural nails crocheting with pink and cream yarn, wearing loose pink abaya sleeves, beside a glass of iced coffee

    Crochet and crafts

Work on a little project while getting to know the sisters beside you.

  • Sisters in pink abayas piping icing onto cupcakes on a marble counter

    Baking and decorating

Share recipes, decorate sweet treats, and enjoy making something together.

  • Iced coffees with croissants, dates and macarons on a marble table with roses

    Coffee and halal snacks

Settle in for warm drinks, good food, and meaningful conversation.

  • Hands arranging a bouquet of pink and cream roses

    Flower arranging and other workshops

Create something beautiful and take home a memory of time well spent.

These are some of the gatherings we're planning. Activities, locations, dates, and any costs will be shared when each event is announced.

The people around us matter.

“A man follows the religion of his friend; so each one should consider whom he makes his friend.”
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ · Sunan Abi Dawud 4833 · Graded Hasan by Al-Albani

The friendships we nurture can influence what we make time for and what we encourage in one another. We hope HMC helps sisters build friendships that support their faith.

Let's build the sisterhood we've been looking for.

Sisters who remember Allah together. Friends who encourage each other to keep going. Moments that become memories, and connections we hope will last for years.
